How Telehealth Hormone and Weight Loss Care Works in Georgia

Woman meeting a provider by video on a tablet at home

Not everyone can make it to our Warner Robins clinic during business hours, and that shouldn’t stand in the way of good care. With telehealth, patients anywhere in Georgia can meet with our medical team by secure video, complete lab work near home and receive eligible medications by mail. Here’s how it works, step by step.

Who telehealth is for

Telehealth is a good fit if you:

  • Live elsewhere in Georgia or have a long commute to Warner Robins
  • Have a busy work or family schedule
  • Are an existing patient who wants convenient follow-ups
  • Prefer to handle routine check-ins from home

You need to be physically located in Georgia at the time of your video visit, because our providers are licensed to treat patients in Georgia.

How it works

1. Schedule your visit

Book online or call (478) 370-0869. You’ll receive instructions for joining your secure video visit.

2. Meet your provider by video

You’ll talk through your symptoms, goals, medical history and current medications, just like an in-person visit. All you need is a phone, tablet or computer with a camera and a private place to talk.

3. Complete lab work near you

Most hormone and weight loss plans start with blood work. Your provider will tell you which labs you need and how to complete them at a location near you. Results are reviewed with you once they’re back.

4. Get your personalized plan

Your provider reviews your results and builds a treatment plan around them, whether that’s hormone therapy, medical weight loss, or another approach.

5. Receive eligible medications by mail

When a medication is prescribed and eligible for delivery, it can ship directly to your home so you can stay consistent.

6. Ongoing follow-ups

Follow-up visits and repeat labs keep your plan safe and effective. Many can be done by video.

What telehealth can and can’t do

Telehealth works well for consultations, lab reviews, plan adjustments and follow-ups. Some situations still call for an in-person visit, such as a physical exam, body composition testing, IV hydration or in-clinic injections. Some medications also have additional federal or state rules. Our team will tell you if any part of your care needs to happen in person.

Tips for a smooth video visit

  • Test your camera, microphone and internet connection beforehand.
  • Have a list of your medications and supplements ready.
  • Write down your symptoms and questions so nothing gets missed.
  • Find a quiet, private spot.
